Wyse thin clients ready for VMware View

Wyse announced yesterday at this years VMworld conference in Cannes, France that their entire line of thin client systems are VMware View ready. Wyse said they have passed the rigorous testing and quality assurance required to be compliant with VMware View.

Being VMware View ready Wyse said their customers will be better positioned to take advantage of the changing virtualization infrastructure including cloud computing.

VMware View virtualization technology formally (VMware VDI) is a desktop virtualization and application virtualization roll into one but separate at the same time. It is separate in that you can manage user’s application separately from their desktop.

Some of the key features of VMware views are:

- Deliver desktops to the user and not to a physical device by eliminating the bonds between a desktop image and the physical PC.

- Rapidly create virtual desktops from a master image.

- Systems are Accessible from anywhere.
