5i a UK supplier of unified communications announced the availability of BeAnywhere, a software application that integrates Citrix and Sun Ray based virtual desktop environments with Cisco’s Collaboration product set. Sun Ray is Oracle VDI solution for companies that are looking for thin client solutions. The Sun Rays offers a lower footprint than a standard desktop with power consumption as low as 4 watt.

The combinations of the three products are an ideal solution for organization looking for VDI solution, especially those with call centres. The BeAnywhere solution will work with Citrix’s establish virtual desktop solutions along with Cisco’s collaborative products.
