New Memory virtualization software from RNA
Memory Virtualization Platform (MVP) and RNA messenger the two products from the RNA stables were released on the 4th. RNA said RNAmessenger and MVP are the first high-performance network virtual memory system. The system works by aggregating unused memory across the different systems into one pool that becomes a shared resource across the network.
Datacentres will benefit that this technology, because on systems the memory is disperse across the network. So by using MVP and RNAmessger network administrator will be able to get back the wasted or unused resource. RNA said its Memory Virtualization Software can be implemented without any changes to the existing infrastructure.
The RNAmessenger is aimed at companies the do a lot of their business online with high volumes of transactions. "In early customer evaluations, we've repeatedly seen how frustrated enterprises are with the limitations of the current memory 'island' model," said Clive Cook, chief executive of RNA.
