With a down turn in the world economy and companies laying off staff, is there somewhere you can go where there is a constant supply of virtualization jobs? We searched the web and found 9 places where virtualization jobs seems to be in constant supply.

Most of us as IT professionals know that as soon as there is a down turn in the economy the back office staff are some of the first to go (not of their own free will) through redundancies.

Therefore, many IT professionals (me included) are looking and thinking if their company is going to be the next victim of the credit crunch that is affecting both sides of the Atlantic. So if your employer should be the next causality or maybe they just decide to cut back as a precautionary measure; as a virtualization professionals where can you look for virtualization jobs to ride out the down turn in virtualization projects?

To find some answers to this question my search took me to four of the well-known recruitment websites (with international job listings), to get an idea as to where the jobs are. I decided to search Monster, Jobserve, Careerbuilder and Yahoo-hotjobs. I also decided on locations that are well known. They are listed in order of those with the most jobs: California, Texas, New York, London, Chicago, Washington DC, Toronto, New Jersey, Germany. I did try others but I did not get any listings.

Therefore, if you get the feeling that it is time to move on bear in mind these destinations.
