Open Kernel Labs (OK Labs), today announced the completion of long-term research and development to provide formal mathematical proof of the correctness of the microkernel technology underlying OKL4, the company’s mobile virtualization platform. Citrix Systems and Microsoft have expanded their desktop virtualization partnership to develop an application that enable enterprise customers to manage all Windows desktops and applications through a common platform.

This month LG Electronics will release its new SmartVine N-series monitors with embedded virtualization. The new system will allow the monitors to function as virtual computers allowing multiple users to use the system at the same time.

VMware has agreed with Terremark to purchase 4 million shares at $5 per share, which will see total investment of $20million. The $20million investment will give VMware a 5% share in Terremark.
